Brown was a first team All-Sun Belt Conference and NABC All-District selection in 1992 and a second team All-American South Conference and NABC All-District selection in 1991. He was also a second team All-Louisiana selection in 1991 and a third team selection in 1992. He was the MVP of the 1991 ASC Tournament and was an All-SBC Tournament selection in 1992. He finished his career ranked fifth in rebounding and second in blocked shots in Louisiana Tech history, with 1,017 rebounds for an 8.4 average and 241 blocks for a 1.99 average. He also had 1,228 career points for a 10.1 average. He led Louisiana Tech in blocked shots for four straight years and in rebounding for three. He led the ASC in blocked shots in 1991. He averaged 12.7 points, 9.9 rebounds and 2.42 blocks in 1992, and 14.4 points, 9.7 rebounds and 2.48 blocks in 1991. He set a school record with a single game high of 10 blocked shots. He helped lead Louisiana Tech to two conference regular season and tournament championships, along with two NCAA Tournament and two NIT Tournament appearances. |
