Floyd won 126 games and lost only 59 during his six years at New Orleans, for a 68.1% career winning percentage. He was a two-time conference Coach of the Year, Louisiana Coach of the Year and NABC District Coach of the Year. He led New Orleans to four conference regular season championships and one conference tournament championship. He also led New Orleans to two NCAA Tournament appearances and three NIT appearances, including the NIT quarterfinals in 1990 and second round in 1994. His 1993 squad was ranked 17th in the nation in the final regular season AP poll. He posted four 20-win seasons, including seasons of 26-4, 23-8, 21-11, 20-10 and 19-11. |
